A complete Tasmanian Greyhound racing form guide is now available online from Racing Services Tasmania.

Race Day

Thursday night meetings. There is a veterinary service available at all meetings. The kennel block is air-conditioned and kennels are all on one tier.

Nominations

Nominations for meetings close at Greyhound Racing Tasmania on 03 6336 2464 at 10:00 AM the Friday before the race meeting.

For first time starters in Tasmania, or if the greyhounds last start was interstate, a written nomination form must be received by 10:00 AM on the Thursday a week before the race meeting.

Trials

Trials are conducted on Saturday mornings 9am , Tuesday nights at 7:00pm and after the last race on Thursday race nights. There are no private trials.

Track

The track is situated at Tattersall's Park, Glenorchy about 10km from the centre of Hobart, Tasmania's capital city. Entrance is from Goodwood Road that runs parallel to the complex. Ample car parking is available inside and outside the grounds.

The track is a 700m circumference one turn and has a sand surface and uses a Bramich lure system. Sky Channel, Bookmaker and a full tote operates on all race meetings. Video replays run continuously and videos of all races are available on request.
